The only exception to this will be in the BD Walk & Trot tests. NO points are allocated in this dressage class.
Member points are also earned for competing at area events. One point is allocated per horse/rider combination competing at an area competition. If a member rides 2 different horses at the same area event, that member will be awarded 2 points and so forth.
If the same horse/rider combination compete successfully at an area qualifier and subsequently compete at a championship, that member will be awarded an additional point.
Total RFRC points to date for each horse/rider combination will be posted on the web, so that members are able to find out how many points they have accrued so far.
Additionally, a running total of points allocated for 2008 is also available to view. Members will then be aware of whether they have sufficient points to be awarded with a trophy each year. Remember though, all points are awarded to horse/rider combinations and not to individual member competitors.
Additionally, if a horse/rider combination has accrued points in certain disciplines, there could be entry restrictions subsequently
applied at Club events (such as Restricted & Open Dressage Tests). All details of restrictions are
printed in Show Schedules for ease of entry.
Points will then be calculated at the end of the Riding Club season, October of each year, and Trophy Awards
presented at the AGM.
